[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I was going through my files and found a large amount of negatives that I had not had proof sheets printed from, and to my surprise I had about a dozen or so images that are worth presenting on the Trek sites, this is one, and the remaining two sites will also have one posted on them tonight.
It is odd how nature can be so cruel, and yet we find these beautiful trees clinging onto what seems to be nothing but a crack in the rock. The roots intertwined through the cracks it seems for DEAR LIFE, and it probably has lived as long, if not longer, than most man has in a normal lifetime.
A symbol of strength...
Have a great weekend...

Hi Steven, beautiful picture, this is the day for B&W on TN! I really like that nude composition, perfect and simple, with so much strength in the lines on the mountain behind a tree that once was great. Thank you,
Francine
Very Nice B&W. You have worked your contrast well. Mice composition too.
You are a lucky man.. Having had 7 children and moving from Cleveland to California, to Cleveland to Florida to California to Washington to California and back to Washington I have sold and bought so much but failed to save all of my B&W negatives...such is life..I only have a few dozen...You are lucky to have an opportunity to revisit with technology and it shows up well for a scan...it is good..oh yes..those were only the main moves...not included are a few in between cities and counties in each state!!!
