Over the Memorial Day weekend of 2012, we decided to go camping in the Sierra area. We didn’t really plan much, no reservation for camp ground, we found some nice camp site at the Tioga Lake, a beautiful place. There was a storm passing through, it was so cold. We didn’t prepare for such temperature. Our sleeping bag is warm enough to keep us comfortable. When we woke up the next morning, it was 12 degree, outside the tent was cover with some snow and some of the food and water bottles we had in the bear proof container were frozen.

This shot is taken on the Tioga Pass Road on our way to Yosemite. I can’t find the name of the lake on the map. The storm passed and leaving us with beautiful snowy winter landscape in the month of May.

This is certainly a breataking image and composed perfectly. Love the crystal clear reflection and gorgeous scenery. Colors are stunning and exposure is just right. I can almost smell the crisp clean air even though I'm sitting here at my computer.
