Hi Scott,

You did well with this one.
maybe a walk to the right to compose the tree to the left of the scene would help, if you were able to.

Mike

Hi Scott,

A picture from one of my favorite places! The foreground and tree are great with good exposure and contrast. This is a situation where a graduated neutral density filter would help even out the exposure of the foreground and upper sky and tree area. Did you scan this image? There is a lot of noise noticeable in the sky. i think your composition is ok.

Thanks for sharing

Nice shot Scott. Such a beautiful place, I love the big boulders and the pine tree, they give a bit of texture and contrast to the waterfall. Yosemite looks like a great place to visit. Janice

That's a beauty. I just love Yosemite. Great capture but there is a touch of noise. Well done!

Hi Scott,
Great shot of one of my favorite places.
The falls must be really full right now.
I like the straight tree intersecting with the water.
Nice composition.
TFS. : )

Hi Scott,
This must be a scanned photo, otherwise the noise wouldn't be this high. Leaving that to the side, this a awesome photo with a very good POV with the tree infront of the waterfall. It is just amazing to see the sheer drop the water makes.
TFS,
Niek

Very nice...

Hi Scott,
nice composition here.
Good colors and details.

Great waterfall shot! I kind of wish the tree in the front wasn't there, but oh well. You can't change nature. Thanks fro sharing this great shot!
