I've spent a lot of time in Glacier NP over the years, but the 17th of January was one in a million. The fog socked the place in that morning - I could see NOTHING. It lifted in the afternoon for one of the most brilliant displays of placid water, fresh snow, drifting fog banks, and incredible white clouds flirting with the impressive blue sky above... the reflections were astounding! I hope you enjoy looking at these as I get them posted as much as I loved taking them... lost in time, I was. Wow....

Beautiful image of the mountains, it has this on the spot feeling, wow, I liked it.TFS

Hello Kelly,
This is an excellent panoramic of grand mountains from Montana with their reflection into the lake water. Its sharpness & POV are beautiful. The luminosity & composition are grand. TFS

PS: For time being I felt I am watching Great Himalayas :) Have you used polarizing filter?

Hi Kelly!

I do not understand why this superb picture has not attracted more attention from our TN-members! It simply is magnificent. I like the overall, somehow mystic atmosphere very much and particularly appreciate the serenity of the spot. Moreover, the reflection is beautiful and the mountain scenery lets the heart of a mountaineer beat higher!

Kind regards

Markus

What a gorgeous scene you have captured for us. The way you composed this shot gives us a splended view of the majestic snow covered mountains, the crystal clear reflections, and the beautiful sky. You must have been spellbound when you witnessed this spectacular sight first hand. Su8per job!!

Hi Kelly,
You are lucky to be living near such beautiful parks. I visited Glacier NP twice and still love to go back and maybe stay longer next time. This one is really wonderful with the cloud hovering between the lake and mountain. As you said, the reflection is astounding. I enjoyed it, it make me want to return sooner than later. Beautiful quality shot and good composition.
Way

This is a wonderful and special moment - so fresh and clear, I like it very much, thanks, Kelly, good shot
