Hi Horia,
Very good photo. I like the dranmatic lightfall, and the natural colours. In this picture the rocks in the foreground have to be very dark for the right impact.

some great sky you've captured here. I like the way is eager tot pop up behind the cloud. It all creates some kind of surreal atmosphere. hope you're still doing fine out there in the wild :-)

Well I'd say that it can be cloudy there. I was once snowed in for days at Tahoe, in a camper, with no where to go while it snowed and snowed and snowed... many feet deep.

This is a wonderful photograph Horia. I love the silhouetted rocks in the shimmering water. The sky and low sun are beautiful. Very nice work.

Wonderful sky, great contrast and colors there..Well composed in the vertical frame also. I'm from California originally, born & raised there. I made my way to Lake Tahoe several times, a most beautiful place :)
I do very little landscape work so far. I wonder how this would look with some combined bracketed exposures?

Anyway, it is really nice to see you again here on TN (a weekend? ;>) This is another lovely picture. I like a dramatic character of this image, clouds are wonderful and the light control very good. It seems that you do not loose your time in the USA :) I really hope to see much more amazing pictures from you after your come back to Romania.

Hi Horia,
You know I have a weak spot for skies, and this one surely triggered something in me. The cloud formations in the upper sky are simply stunning. I love how you just got that small band of yellow sky along the horizon, showing that that sun is about to set. Your composition is very good with the rocks in the FG giving depth and leading the eye onward to the larger rocks and onward to the setting sun. I like the combination of the cool water and upper sky being broken by the warm sunlight.

As I can see you're doing the learning curve so fast and successfully!
This is a beautiful scene, so evocative, it really connects you back with nature and the essentials.
You did a pretty good job with the 17mm, the inclusion of the stone silhouettes and that gorgeous clouds works great for this composition.
I'll be following the rest of your travelogue, and it would be good to have you back home to resume your active participation here.

Hi Horia.
I like to see your new works taken with excellent new equipment. I understand your pleasure and share it. You have pictured a very nice scene and done it perfectly. I like your vertical cropping, amazing colour palette and light/shadows. Crisp sharpness and details of whole image decorate the pictured view. It is a funny a bit the use of tripod at so short exposure time and focal length. However, the better tripod than without it. Bravo, my friend, excellent impressive shot.

I prefer more detail on stones, but sky and sea are wonderful, composition is very good
