I like composition and color of your picture. Well done!
Hi Horia
You take your time and give priority to your studies– there will always be time afterwards to allocate to TN and photography. Just don't let the fire in your heart dwindle. You are too good a photographer to go wasted.
I think I know why this old man looks so grumpy – it is because of that massive jaw. Lovely details and rich colours. Good exposure levels to compensate for the lack of light. Well seen and captured.
Good work and TFS.
Regards
Loot

Hello Horia, yes, I can see your Grumpy Old Man.
Well seen and captured. And even the pine tree in the BG looks like it is sprouting out of his head - maybe that is what is giving him a headache!!
Good one, it makes me smile

Ha ha! What an eye you have to spot this!
This looks just like a grumpy old man!
It also looks very similar to those Easter Island statues!
Great contrast giving the photo a gritty feel.
Sharp with superb detail and clarity.
Brilliant composition.
Well done Horia.
Cheers,
Joe

YES! Horia I saw it right off..What a face...there is a rough semblence of this vs the Easter Island doings which were created by man and not natural as yours is..Good eye as our baseball team used to yell to its pitcher...good eye!

Hi Horia.
Your reasons are so weighty. I wish you realization of all your plans. Shot is very nice. You managed to select a very impressive POV. Despite the cloudy weather picture is so colorful and pictorial. Excellent DOF (it is feature of wide angle) and details of the beautiful landscape. We are waiting for you here. Kind regards and TFS.
Alexei.

Hi Horia,
It's very good the composition made with that rock formation.
The form of it certainly resembles a human profile, very appropriate your POV to display it.
I like the PP done on it, it really works pretty well and looks great.
Hope your exams don't keep you away too long from posting again.
I'm too not very happy at all with me recent pictures, but the only way to go is keeping working on it.
My compliments and thanks to post it.
Warm regards,
JM
Hello Horia, dear friend
the feeling is familiar. And just as loot said there will always be a moment to bump back in again. I guess, for myself, it has also to do with the limited time available to go out and try new thing and the huge amount of high quality pictures here on TN and also on other sides. Scrolling through the gallerries I sometime think what I can add to that in terms of fresh views and images. Just another bird or damsel doesn't give all the satisfaction. I guess it is just a lot of trying and experimenting. I think you did a good attemps in your latest series of pictures and also here. Keep capturing those scenes and show us the result.
cheers,
Jacob
good luck with the exams
Ho Horia, i don't know how i missed this one! So very well seen my friend, you keen eye for an opportunity never seems to let you down...Very Easter Island ;o)The tree looks like a little bit of hair sticking up too, very well composed.
good luck with all your studying, don't work too hard though, remember to have some fun :o)

Hello Horia,
This capture is very beautiful, interesting and amusing!! I like the view and the colours and the rock is interesting covered in lichens. We have a nutcracker that looks like this, with a jaw that goes up and down! :-)
Very well observed!
Hope you'll soon be back again!
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

Hello Horia,
An interesting rock formation adds to this fine composition!
Good texture in the stone and it is fun to see how the tree is placed right behind "his head"...
Otherwise it is a fine landscape with muted colours!

Hello Horia
A beautiful rock face you have captured. It reminds me a bit of the huge Easter Island stone faces.
The setting this rock is in is beautiful. The surrounding area is lovely, and you have captured it well.
The lighting and colours are super.
