[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
From Wikipedia:
Broken Top (elev. 9175 feet) is a stratovolcano highly eroded by glaciation. It is located south of the Three Sisters group of volcanoes in the Cascade Range of central Oregon. Broken Top is about 20 miles (32 km) west of Bend, Oregon in Deschutes County.
Broken Top is certainly one of the more impressive mountains in the area. |

I like this picture. Very good composition, wonderful trees and mountain, and snow, snow, snow... Well done!
Its seems that im just there watching in person this beautiful mountain and trees.
The colors and composition are gorgeous
This is another beauty Tim. I wish I wasn't so prejudiced against volcanoes. You have helped me appreciated the Oregon mountains more. I was so spoiled and so in love with the California Sierra that it has taken me some time to warm up (ha ha ha) to our volcanoes here in Oregon. We haven't lived here all that long and are still exploring it ourselves. You managed wonderful exposure and a perfect balanced composition.
