|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This photo was taken in Astoria, Oregon along the Columbia River. My family and I were vacationing and walking on the docks to see some of the fishing boats, when we came across some docks that were filled with Sea Lions. |
Now I will put in a disclaimer that no one should get as close as I did to take this photo. You can not see in the photo, but I had an exit if need be. These are amazing creatures in that although they look blubbery and slow....they are amazingly fast even with funny "FEET"! hahahhaa!
The Sea Lion pictured was quite patient with me and did allow me many shots as long as I didn't get to close to the other Sea Lions....I think he wanted the camera all to himself. As you can see here he was giving me his best side while posing for the camera. I wasn't sure if he was smiling....or just showing me his big teeth and sending me a message.
lighting levels adjusted
a bit of cropping
a bit of sharpening
a bit of saturation
