[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this photo while hiking the Indian Point trail in the Herman Creek area of the Oregon Cascades. It appears that a squirrel has been using it as a dining table to eat his fir cone nuts.

I found this one just off the trail growing on an overturned tree. It was very dark there so I used the flash. Cropped, levels, resized and framed.

I didn't like photos with flash very much but yours looks quite good. Nice POV and DOF, colours also looks natural. But first of all very interesting subject.

This one turned out very nicely! I haven't taken a good look at my photos of this one, but your capture looks really good. The green moss, the remnants of fir cones, and that giant sized fungi are very interesting. Great color and focus.

Very interesting post, Lori. That squirrel sure had its fill. Excellent composition and sharpness. The shells form a nice leading line to the main subject. Well done.

Wonderful photo the green moss, brown cone remnants and of cause the fungi all make for an interesting view

Wonderful photo. It seems as though the squirrel set the perfect photographic table for your visit! Nice composition and interesting fungi with unusual color and texture. Well done, Lori. Thank you.

How big is it? It looks really large and fascinating too. TFS
