|Along the Multnomah Falls trail in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, I found these flowers. The best I can identify them is that they're Penstemons. In researching their name I found out there are over 200+ know Penstemon varieties! I'm not sure which variety these are, in the Columbia River Gorge there is one variety of Penstemon that is only found here. I don't think this is it however, but the petals definitely look to be of the Penstemon family.|
