It is hard to find definitive shapes and contrasts in a rain forest but when our hike brought us to the river's edge the rocks offered both.

Hi Evelynn,
This is very nice shot!
Great low level lighting, perfect exposure,
very good details in those rocks.
Thanks for sharing!

Hi Evelynn,
Wow, you've changed subject! I didn't even realize that this photo was yours. Great POV. Lighting and DOF are great. I like the different colors had shapes of the rocks and the details on it. What shutter speed and F-stop did you use?

Good exposure and detail, well done.

Hi Evelynn, I like the lighting here and from the shadows on the stones I think it must be late afternoon. Good colours and details, and the soft BG of water emphasises the shapes and colours of the stones. Well done.

A masterful play with shadow and light, Evelynn. Also a great composition with the rounded rocks lying and standing. An interesting artistic presentation. TFS. : )

Hello Evelynn,

I am running behind in my critiques and have decided to expedite the process by this method, once again.

However, I did wish to give a well deserved smiley for this wonderful posting.

Lovely composition, lighting and POV!

Thank you, for your understanding.
