This is a view at a minute section of the ancient mud lahar that formed the world famous Clarno Nut Beds in North Central Oregon. On my Trek Earth site for the next month or so I will be posting images and the history from Sunday's photo shoot of this region.

Hi Steven
It looks like you picked a nice day for your Central Oregon journey. This looks like a great place to capture some nice landscape scenes.
This might be just a slight bit over sharpened but I would of really liked to have seen more depth instead of the bush. It looks like there is some nice rock formations.
I will have to put this on my list of places to visit.

I had no idea Oregon had this terrain Steve. You chose a good point of view, and making it a vertical seems the right choice. I would like to get there to explore some of this one day.
