Another wonderful Blue Heron captured by my lens. This lovely bird was at Devils Lake in Lincoln City, Oregon along the Oregon Coast. He is a very ingenious bird that is for sure.....He would sit on the dock and look very cool and the local fishermen would just throw him fish....he is quite the begger...or just really smart and knows we humans feel the need to feed wildlife....=0) |

The heron at the lake where i kayak are so shy, I have 20 to 1 missed images because they took flight before I could bring the camera up and focus properly .. My information is that only the males have the little "duck tail" feather on the back of their heads ... well captured ... the feathers on the neck so soft, never look in focus ...
