Hi Lori
A lovely landscape with a beautiful flower for a bonus, or is it the other way around. Anyway, this is a fine capture with lots of potential.
I like the composition with the flower giving excellent scale and perspective, the colours are fine, but IMHO you could jive it up a little with PP, the details looks great, and the exposure was well managed on the average although I believe you could brighten up those trees and even the flower shrub as well. I have done a quick workshop to show you what I mean.
Good work though and TFS.

Beautiful shot Lori.
The DOF here is really good,wirth nearly every part of the picture in focus.
Interesting to see these Penstemon in their natural habitat.
Often,when I grow shrubs like these in the garden,I wonder what sort of place they would usually be found in. Now I know.

Yes, I have grown Penstemon at home, but these very definite wild Penstemons here look much better then mine ever did.
Lori, showing them to us with this superb BG is awesome! The POV is spot on. You should be thrilled with this image. Good job,

A beautiful 3D scenery with a lot of depht, sharpness, bright colours and constrast and two diagonal mountains, one almost black, otherone white.

A most appealing contrast between the fresh flower and the snow covered mountain!
Lovely composition with a strong diagonal, great clarity in colours and fine details...
The group of flowers make up a strong foreground interest, and your low point of view really lift them into the image...
