Just a few Sea Lions making themselves at home in the Newport, Oregon Yaquina Bay. It is unbelievable just how loud these creatures can get....but I love them all the same. The fisherman are not quite so joyous over them.....they eat the Salmon that they fisherman are trying to catch.....

Bettina,
These great creatures our part of our world; they eat salmon, "their" food only when they are hungry. However,
the fishermen take, often, more than they need just to sell and make money. In fact fishermen are the cause of a lot of evil to us MANKIND.
This is indeed a great image.

You can not please everyone, those fishermen thinks that all the fishes belong to them...

You got them in the wild, much better then the zoo.What lens were you using?I am wondering if you will be able to zoom more on the group at the right?
