[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a view from Oceanside to the south of Three Arch Rocks, from this view you can't see the arches though, but the pink sky I think adds to the peaceful mood. This was the closest we came to a sunset while at the beach this time.

Three Arch Rocks is part of the Cape Mears National Wildlife Refuge. Cape Meares National Wildlife Refuge was established in 1938 to protect one of the last remnants of coastal old growth forest. Huge Sitka spruce and western hemlock, some over 200 feet tall and hundreds of years old, provide habitat for federally threatened bird species, including bald eagles.

You can see the many sea birds circling over the rocks in the background.

Hi Lori, nice bay.
Good POV with a 1/3 of sky and 2/3 of ground.
Really well composed.

Hello Lori,
Nice mood in this photo with the soft purple sky and beach: good to have the dark pebble spots in the foreground

Perfect horizon Lori!! And the thirds are spot on too. Well composed, and the dull colours give quite a nice pink to the whole picture. Well done,
