Yellow Waterlily
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
We found this yellow waterlily (Nuphar polysepalum) in a small wooded area that seemed to have a small pond part of the year. The pond was mostly dried up but the soil was still quite moist and muddy. We found a huge clump of the waterlily plants and many flowers. Later in the day we saw a deer eatting in the small pond area. |

Too funny again, I almost posted my yellow waterlily this morning, after checking if you'd posted anything. If I had done that our photos would have been two away from each other again. LOL
This turned out very well, I love the center of this flower, and how most of it is in the shade. YOu know of the 4 differnt flowers of these I took photos of, each one had a different looking center. I wonder why?
The yellow color on this is beautiful, well done.
Hello Julie
Nice colour and shape of this waterlily. I have never seen one like this before. Good capture. Thanks.

Beautiful flower Julie. The colours have come through well and the depth of field selection worked well. The over exposure on the left is distracting and at the same time has drawn some exposure from the main subject. A little post production work could partially fix this. Well done, Rob
Bonjour Julie,
Superbe photo : on est saisi par la beauté des couleurs bien mises en valeur par un rayon de soleil !
