Thanks to my sister I found the identification of this flower:

Olsynium douglasii (Sisyrinchium), common name: Grass Widow.

There were quite a few blooming in the Tom McCall Nature Reserve at Rowena Crest.

Nice spring picture of the interesting plants. I like composition, sharpnes and colors. Framing is very nice too.
I donīt know this plant.

May I say something here by way of an opinion not necessarily correct?
Using a rather wide strip of the same color as that of these lovely flowers for a frame seems to dilute their appeal.

I love the flowers they were captured well Julie! I am finding the frame being so close to the color of the flowers to be a bit distracting.

The DOF is excellent!
