On the trek meet we were guided by a staff member of the Sheep Rock Unit, Michelle, through a small creek where the ancient seabed had rose above the topography during a violent earthquake or other occurance of such magnitude. |

Hi Steve
What an interesting and rugged rock formation. Are their fossils in the rock? From a distance the rocks look similar to what we find in the Cypress Hills in the SE corner of Alberta, which is called Conglomerate (cement looking). It would be great to see a close up of these rocks you've shown.
