First Flight

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
After waiting throughout the summer after many visits to the nest site I took this image of the oldest Osprey chicks first flight out of the nest. The parents kept flying in with food to the nest only to fly back to another post in the Columbia River. You could hear the animosity of the chick as it wanted fed, and fed right now... After the parents had teased the chick for about five minutes the chick decided it was time to exercise its wings, I was fortunate to capture this whole roll of film with the chicks "First Flight." |

Wow,
What a great capture.
I like the color of the eyes of the bird and the position of the wings!!!
Great pic
It certainly pays to be patient, Steve! Good composition. It looks like it could stand one click on the Sharpen button.

Bonjour Steven,
Un superbe shot dans des conditions pas faciles. La netteté est superbe aussi quand on voit l'oeil aussi perçant. Bravo et merci. Gérard
