This is Ponytail Falls located on the Oregon side in the Columbia river Gorge. The fall is 125 foot drop and the trail that leads down to the base raps around under neath a cliff that gos behind the falls. You can see a person standing under the falls to compare the size. Thanks for looking.

greeting lou

It must be quite the spectacle to see tom!. You have composed it just perfectly off center and flowing into teh bottom center...The surrounding heavy greens makes the focal stick right out well! A place I would like to see in better times!

Hi Tom. This a beautiful looking place which you have taken so well I like the POV which you took this one from. A good compostion with rich colours and detail. well
done TFs.
Nick..

You've done a great job here, I really like the composition, and all of those greens really kind of blend together, which sort of draws your eye to the well captured waterfall. Nicely done.

Hi Tom!

Your picture is superb! I'm not really a fan of blurred water courses, but I must admit that the effect here is magnificent. Moreover, the atmosphere created by the light and the green colour tones is delightful. Your picture also reflects the wild and untouched aspect of this place very well.

Kind regards

Markus
