[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Fall has arrived to the Columbia River Gorge as the Oregon Vine Maple are in full bloom near Cascade Locks. I have taken these dead trees once before a few years ago in the middle of summer to see what their shapes would offer, and as I drove by the location Thursday morning the colors just punched you in the face and forced me to drive another 3 miles down the freeway and turn around and drive back. I sat on the roadway for about an hour before the sun finally crested the hillside behind, and then Mother Nature began to paint her scene in my camera's lens. |

nice colours nice picture
That's gorgeous Steven. Gotta love this. Only one of 2 or 3 fall pictures put up this season. The lime green leaves are so vibrant you can't help but be in aww! The rich blue sky contrasts well with the leaves. You chose a wonderful POV. I'm glad you made the trip back. TFS Trevor

Bonjour Steven,
Good idea to return at the place. The point of view you have chosen is really excellent, the colors of fall striking. However I think that the colors are a little too saturated, may be that's just my feeling.
Have a nice Sunday
Amitiés
