Hello Markus,
Fascinating content and apparently the right moment as well due to these dark clouds background-wise and the general lighting conditions.
Very good work and thanks for sharing it.

Hi Markus,
I too posted Delicate Arch today. I love your version with the sunlit arch against that dark sky and landscape. How did you manage to get all of the people out of the picture? A bunch of photographers all started yelling at them and they finally got the not so subtle hint. It is a special arch for sure and I am surprised that I had been to Arches Park several times before I actually made the trip up to it. That was probably because it was summer, and we couldn't park our camper anywhere.
It's a great picture. Thanks for sharing it.

Hi Markus!
This image is a bit strange to see from you, as it is not from the Alps :) But it still carries your way of seeing, it was not you if there was no mountain in a landscape! Lighting also brings something special with the shadow just stopping before the arch. And what makes it really yours is the perfect geometry in the composition, and the perfectly balanced expo! Very nice answer to a dedication. TFS!
Best regards,
Andor
u r lucky to get this light in the arch, TFS, this is just amazing, Ori

Lieber Markus,
Bravo, donc

Hi Markus.
I only can dream about such landscape masterpiece. Bravo. Simply outstanding shot by pictured scene and quality of the shot. I only do not agree with specification of the shot as W/B. Simply amazing lights and colours. Sharpness of all details is razor. POV and composition are the best too. Thanks for watch pleasure and kind regards.

Hi Markus,
I just saw that you and Evelynn posted a photo of the same arch but year appart. Its great to see that nothing has changed inbetween.
The light in this photo is probably the best part of the entire photo. It illuminated the arch perfectly and gave wonderful contrast against the dark moody sky. I can imagine that, for you, standing here was very special. Not only the spectacular view, but also beeing here on your wedding trip.
TFS,
Niek

Hi Markus
Splendid view of this delicate arch from you, too. I like to compare your shot with Evelynn's :)
The light here is amazing and the contrast it results in is lovely! I like how the arch itself is illuminated by the warm sunlight while the BG is so dark and cold...it makes the scenery look like from a film :)
Wonderful composition and spot-on exposure here, in my opinion.
I don't know if you've used any filtes for this, but if you didn't, the shot is even more valuable!
Bravo and TFS

Hi Markus
I love rocks and their natural beauty. I'm guessing this is a morning shot as the mountain are in the background and the light on the arch is on the east side?? Very picturesque, the rock, surrounding area, vegetations and sky. A really nice landscape.

Hallo nochmals, Markus,
Dieter

Thanks for your comment.

Markus, I compliment you on this photgraph capture! The colors, composition and landscape are absolutely extraordinary. If there was any country in the world that I would love to live in, outside of my present location in the U.S.A. it would be Switzerland. Such beauty and grace are incorporated into Switzerland's make up that I cannot imagine anyone NOT wanting to live there. As I peruse more of your gallery I will make further comments. Being new to TN I am selecting photographs and persons that I find extremely interesting.

Hallo Markus
What a lovely combination of elements of nature all in one beautiful, almost historical landscape. The assortment of colours of the various elements compliments each other so well. It is a great pleasure to look at these rock formations so close to the eye, yet so far away. Indeed a lovely scenery. In my opinion is that this image in actual fact belongs in the text books of Geography students. Thanks for sharing such an amazing view. Kind regards
Anna

Guten Tag Markus-
Beautiful shot of one of my favorites and indeed one of the most photographed in the world. My large poster of the same arch from my last visit there in 1990 has faded so much that I will need another (both visit and poster). With all the collapses, this is a good time to go back. You never know which one will be next. I lived in Salt Lake City for 4 years and spent lots of time in Arches, so this makes me want to get some of my many slides scanned. Its good to see your luck with the Nikon 9000. If I do some scans, I'll have to post some here.
