Oh, my... you must have had to work darned hard painting all those tiny little leaves reddish-orangy to make it look like it is still fall. Could you paint in some snow in upcoming pictures so we can have some of that this winter? ;) ;)
Btw, nice fall scene.

Somehow I don't think you have to say it is your favorite season:-) Just look at the pages of colors of fall/autumn and one gets the idea right off...and you did cover autumnal colours so well...does this now mean we are going for the white images...or is Salem mostly wet..well you can trek up into the mountains like that poor Korean fella last year but BE PREPARED as he wasn't...it is white up there for sure...I felt so badly for that family.,..ah well..

Haha...you really to hold on tight to that beloved autumn of yours, don't you :))
However, i think this shot would go well both ways - lovely autumn colors but also nice Christmas red :)
Either way, it's a terrific close-up on this vivid trees, one with amazing hues and tones but also with excellent contrast.
Looking back at your gallery, you really pulled some amazing fall shots this past season and i wish you at least teh same great light and condition for the winter, too. I also hope i will be able to match yours next year :)
Bravo, TFS and Happy Holidays!

Hola Evelynn. I am so impressed by the colors of this beautiful trees. You did a great work here. Just beautiful.
Merry Christmas to You Evelynn, and to all Your Family too.
I gave up on Autumn this year after the first 30cm of snow way back in November.I have tried to post white shots since then,it's early yet and I am already tired of it.
Come on Spring! My deer friends are finding it difficult to move around, and I almost struck one on the highway tonight.Wow ,I managed to drive around it at 90 KPH.
This red foliage is striking and the thumbnail is very eye catching.
The vertical composition is very good, and the grasses in the foreground add some nice colour.
The brightness of the leaves certainly brightens up the shot.
Vivid and well saturated colours give this impact.
