We are back from a short trip to Wyoming to see what was left of the fall display. A very large winter storm hit a few days after this shot, dumping lots of snow. Looks like it may be a very early winter. We were a little late for the best of the fall color and the wind was taking the last of the leaves. I liked the curve of this aspen tree and feeling of graceful transition to winter.

This is a photo merge of two vertical images.

Hi Evelynn

A lovely vertorama here with this curved birch tree.
The colors are lovely, even though they are not quite at their peak for the autumn season and the contrast with the "evergreen" by its side is really nice here, too.
Very good control over the exposure and excellent stitch, as well.

Bravo and TFS

Hello Evelynn,
First of all good you're back:-)
Then...a very good image. A lot of depth (and depth of field).
The focus is definitely on that beautiful tree followed by many others in the background. It's also nicely compared and contrasts very well with that evergreen.
Well done
Thanks for sharing

Hello Evelynn

A beautiful scene.
The shot has a lovely atmosphere to it.
I really like how the orange punches up the image.
Excellent focus and beautiful detail.
The white of the birch tree bark is super.
Lovely grasses and wildflowers.

Hello Evelynn,
Well come back,
with a very nice autumn photo with nice composition and superb colours
Kind regards

Hi Evelynn!

I like this picture very much. It changes from what we usually see in autumn. It's pure autumnal nature at best. The sky and its colour suits the atmosphere very well and the picture shows the transition to the winter in an impresive and pleasant way.

Kind regards

Hy Evelynn
Wow, nice. I was a good idea to include in the picture coniferous tree, to give a contrast in your picture.Even without them, the picture will be anderful...I like the aspen trees in autumn, in fact in every season.
Regards, Oana
