[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Several ancient cultures, including the Egyptians and Chinese, practiced chromatherapy, or using colors to heal. Chromatherapy is sometimes referred to as light therapy or colourology and is still used today as a holistic or alternative treatment.

In this treatment:
Red was used to stimulate the body and mind and to increase circulation.

Yellow was thought to stimulate the nerves and purify the body.

Orange was used to heal the lungs and to increase energy levels.

Blue was believed to soothe illnesses and treat pain.

I don't need to study "chromatherapy" to benefit from the healing properties of color. The gorgeous mountain ash (Sorbus americana) and aspens (Populus tremuloides) renew my spirit every year.

Looking at your picture also renew our spirit, Evelynn, it is beautiful and chaotic like nature can be, yet organized and efficient. The colours are beautiful and the charm is added by the pattern of the leaves all over the frame. Thank you!

Francine
