this sure has my eye today! The light has such an attractive golden hue to it and of course the subjects are superb.I have seen many of these animals in eastern Alberta and every time I did not have a camera with me and now with the advent of digital cameras,I almost always have one.The diagonal slant the pronghorns have in the pose works very well for the point of view. The banding the last female has on her neck looks very distinctive and the male's horns likewise. These can not be mistaken for any other animal in North America and you have caught them with very good detail and colour.I wish you luck while in BC and I hope you get tons of eagle photos and have a safe trip. Your title made me laugh out loud. : )
What a wonderful tableau... a prairie tableau at that!
Yes, the light is indeed beautiful,
and the arrangement of the pronghorns is just superb.
Everything is sharp as a tack.
A wonderful image.
Have fun chasing eagles, and have a safe trip.

Your photo looks great! It has a very fine composition with the three deers in one plane and the bock in an other. The image is very sharp showing excelent details both on animals and grassess around. The light you have captured in your photo is very nice. The warm colors of grassess and furs look very nice and blends happily together.
Thank you for sharing,

A very nice close-up of this little pack of pronghorns here!
Interesting note on their mating ritual and a lovely photo to suggest that, as well. I hope after all his trouble that at least one of those galls chose him :)
Very beautiful warm light that makes all the colors shine so nicely.
Excellent DOF as well, to keep all of them in very good focus.
Bravo and TFS
PS: the best of luck for your Bald eagles shots!!!

A wonderful capture Evelynn,
They sure blend in with their surroundings, such beautiful animals. You caught them all lined up and enjoying a bit of lunch.
I've only seen antelope once, and that was in 2000 when Rosie and I took a three week trip out West. I remember watching them bound off like they had springs in their legs. TFS.

Beautiful picture, Evelynn, it seems that the Grand Teton National Park is filled with many beautiful animals, I almost feel you are in Africa! I am surprised at the different species and the diversity found. We don't have so many species here. This is a great shot too, with the beautiful colour of the pronghorns with the same colour being repeated in the grass. Thank you!
