|Yellowstone National Park is well-known for its thermal features. It's home of 500 geysers, most of them are concentrated in geyser basins. When they erupt, water containing various minerals flows on the ground. Besides, this hot and wet ecosystem allows lichens to grow. The combination of these various minerals and lichens is responsible of incredible colors we can see along the geyser basins.|

My wife and I visited Yellowstone quite a few years ago, but I still remember the unique geyser pools and their distinct sulfur like smells. Beautiful natural colors and attractive presentation.
