[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Black-throated Sparrow (Amphispiza bilineata) is a small sparrow primarily found in the southwestern United States and Mexico. It is sometimes referred to as the Desert Sparrow, due to its preferred habitat of arid desert scrub.

The Black-throated Sparrow reaches a length of about 4.5-5.5 inches, and is pale gray above, with a distinctive black and white head pattern. Its call is high and bell-like, and its song is a fairly simple, mechanical tinkling. It feeds primarily on insects and seeds, and travels in small groups, though larger groups may accumulate around sources of water in the desert.

Hi Jane,
a nice picture with fine colours.
It's a bit tight composition and it a÷slo look like you have cropped it little to hard, the details looks a bit pixelated.
You manage well with the exposure.
Well done.

Hello Jane, :)

I see it was a double bird post for both of us today! These guys are cute, nice pose with vibrant colours. Looks like you were battling some extreme light, good job on the exposure. Thanks for sharing!

Hello Jane,
Wonderful to get 2 birds pose for you in one shot. POV and composition are great. The image a bit soft which may due to a big cropped or just the birds are too far from you. Well done and tfs.

Hi Jane, a very nice composition here with the birds in different positons. Great colour and nice and sharp.

Hello Jane,
It's a very nice picture of these birds. Their poses are very interesting and framing works great. Unfortunatelly the quality is very bad and it is pretty obvious that the background isn't entirely original. Very sharp "edges" of birds and leaves make picture look quite unnatural.
Overall, nicely spotted!

Hello Jane,
Very clever to have captured these two together and both posing so nicely. Lovely colours but sharpness is probably affected by too heavy cropping. Pity! But the composition is great!
TFS and best wishes, Ulla
