I caught the busy bumble bee working at the Woodland Park Zoo in early August. I got several shots of her though this is one of my favorites.
If anyone knows the type of flower pictured, I'd be glad to know.

Nice capture Tim, the flower is beautiful however I don't know what kind it is. Getting the bee in mid flight is a great bonus.

Colors of flowers are superb.

Great capture of this bee in mid-flight! Wow, I'm impressed. I love the flower as his landing spot, which is a Hydrangea, for more information on the flower. Lovely colors and focus on this small creature.
