Splendid in flight capture!
I like so much the pose of the bird caught, with its wings full extended, it really have a large span.
So beautiful the transparencies on the feathers...
Great the composition made against the blue sky.
Congratulations and thanks for share it.
My best regards,

A beautiful flying action capture of this beautiful turkey like vulture. But in my view the sky looks a bit high saturated. No matter a very good capture. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Good one, Tom. They are magnificent birds. My nit would be the postwork treatment - I believe that there are improvements possible.
That aside - difficult shot well done!

Turkey vulture eh? I remember seeing one in Ohio. I was only 18 and told my dad, a bird man from birth, that I had seen a California Condor..He laughed for weeks.....
A wonderful shot. I love these soaring pictures. Proframe does such a great job at it...but methinks he goes beyond pro..to genius...The rest of us have to tag along.....

This is a fabulous action shot of this Vulture soaring through the sky and a lovely blue sky it is too. I like the way the sun is shining throught its wings. Nice.

Nicely seen and presented, Tom. You've captured that wingspan beautifully and positioned the vulture pleasingly within the frame.
Although this is not an eagle, the image does bring to mind the proverb: "Three things are too wonderful for me, yea, four which I do not know: the way of an eagle in the air; the way of a snake on a rock; the way of a ship in the middle of the sea; and the way of a man with a maiden." Come to think of it, it would be kind of fun to do a series of photos trying to illustrate all four. Maybe a task for another day....
