[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Mrs Bluebird does all the work building the nest while mr Bluebird stands by idly ... every now and then peering into the box to check on progress and then taking a strand of grass or two out ... while the Mrs slogs away ...

Lighting was not good for this shot as it was rainy and I was not sure if it would make a good shot. However, she only takes a day or two to build her nest so I must also make hay while the sun shines :)

Another outstanding inflight bluebird. Focus is excellent. Great composition and pleasing background. In my opinion it could use a slight boost in color saturation and slight increase of contrast. But it is outstanding photo especially in low light!

Hi Liezel, this is a great in action shot of this bluebird. Very good colour and excellent detail seen in this shot. Using the f4 aperture you have very effectively used your depth of field, very good focus with that fast 1/4000 sec shutter have helped make a very sharp shot of this guy. The crop is perfect giving him lots of room to fly.
