These baby egrets really want their food. the baby has its beak open next to the closed beak adult. but it does look like, to me at least, a two headed egret!

Hi Tom,

She/He has hunger as always. A nice POV and great details. Colours are naturel. The backlight in the spread out wings make them beautiful. Sharp, yes that's the right word. Regards and TFS Bob

Now that thar's funny...I don't care what ya' say. That's a funny one! -Apologies to Larry the Cable Guy....

Hi Tom
Believe it or not but two headed Egrets are more common than ultra-sharp pictures like this one!
Probably it will not survive because it has 3 wings, difficult to fly... LOL
Back to the picture: sharpness incredible, colours great, compo with the wings spread perfect. If you had not cut the feet it would have been the picture of the week, but without toes... ;-)

A fabulous capture and it does indeed appear to have two heads -- what it wants is two beaks, methinks!
Fabulous details

Hello Tom,
Two heads in one! Amazing! Exotic pose of the adult Little Egret, sharply captured at a good moment.
Well done and have a good weekend,
Ivan

Hi Tom.
He he. He also seems to have 3 wings as well. I think he flies around in circles ;) Very beautiful. Great sharpness and colour. Well captured.
Best regards, Steve.

Great action shot! You're right - it does look like a two-headed bird.

I always prefer the pictures on TN that show animal/bird behaior, and this is really superb - technically perfet, and showing the greediness of the young egret anxious to get fed.

Hello Tom,
curious effect, but a sharp image and well captured.
Wishes,
Violetta

Belle photo de ces aigrettes, drole de position et le bec ouvert comme cela, ou vous avez attendu le bon moment ou elle faisait quelque chose de spéciale ou vous y étiez au bon moment. Amitiés Thomas
