What a splendid shot and composition!
I really love the simplicity of this shot: one bird, one branch and nothing but a perfect uniform BG aside. Superb!
I really like the colors and textures too here: very vivid on the buthach, the lovely grey striped old branch and that rather pale and contrasting BG.
The composition is, as i said, very beautiful, too, with a diagonal line described by the tree and the subject.
All-in-all: magnificent!
