This is one of the Wild Mushrooms i found last Sunday at The Waterfall Glen Forest Reserve in Willowbrook,IL.I took 4 different shots of this amazing looking huge shelf fungus and this is version # 1..I hope you like it.

Hi, This looks to be a more tipical fruiting body of polyporus squamosus. Nice colour and an interesting post when you compare your two images. Its easy to see why people have so much trouble IDing muchrooms :)
