I saw these berries in winter on a hike in Marshlands Conservancy in Rye NY

Marshlands Conservancy is a 173-acre wildlife sanctuary composed of a diversity of habitats. Forest, meadow, salt marsh and shore can be explored and appreciated here. There are three miles of trails and one-half mile of shoreline along the Long Island Sound. Located along the Atlantic migratory flyway, Marshlands is an excellent birdwatching location; more than 230 species have been sited.
The Marshlands salt marsh is one of few in New York accessible to the public for study and enjoyment

Well you have my attention now!:-) I had not noticed you before...and of course critiquing others work is a good way to do it..and then here you have a berry of which I am not familiar, but they look a lot like Concord Grapes...which of course they are not considering where and when they were taken. Very nice image...and from me...I know I am not the first...but at least from me, welcome...I shall remember you if I can find the room and time...and if I forget just write me or come again to my gallery...It is always very good having fresh photographers who can really handle a camera as you do so well.

Very good focus and detail. The colours are natural and vivid.
The shot is balanced and well composed.
They look like some sort of grape.

I think that this a great picture of something simple. The shadows make the picture look realistic and I like the way the background is out of focus. It is centered just right. Good job.

A nice composition Angela. The lighting worked nicely in your favour. It is a good crop and placement of the berry within the photo. Keep the good work up.
Doug

wonderful detail and sharpness.very nice composition.

Hi Angela,
I like the simplicity of this picture with beautiful composition and great details. You chose good DOF to make a nice blurred background. Well seen :)
