Excellent photo, very sharp and great composition. Looks like it could be a post card image.
All the years as an elementary teacher has taught you a lot of patience, I can tell by your gallery of photos.
My family is in education also, I have two children who teach, my wife is our middle sch. secretary and I'm on the BOE. It's nice to see a retired educator using her time in such a rewarding endevaor. TFS.

Hey Evelynn!!! Nice to see you back!!!
Sorry to hear that photo opportunities are rare there as well :( Here, now that i'm finally finished with my exams (from the winter session), surely the weather is terrible... Why did i even dare to hope for some beautiful sky and small fluffy clouds...ehh...whatever :)
Well, even so, apparently this is a good opportunity for you to take out some beautiful photos from the archives - photos like this one that definitely deserved to see the "day light".
A gorgeous shot with a superb composition!
I really like the two "U" shapes - one right the other up-side down. The balance the composition so well!
The colors and reflection are also stunning and the exposure is spot-on, too.
Hope to see more like this one, too (in case you don't have any luck for new ones in the end:))
Bravo and TFS

Excellent photo of a wonderful landscape
That gives ideas for a near future trip
I saw the photo and knew that it was Glacier. I don't think I've been to this lake, but the mountains in the back to look familiar. The title of this photo is perfect. It really breaths serenity. I love the clarity and details in this photo. The composition with the two U-shapes is perfect.
P.S. do take it easy on all your computer project and do go outside to enjoy nature.
Beautiful & serene image, yes the perfect title for this Evelynn.
A technical marvel, everything looks grand..But I wonder, how much of this is the photographers skill, and how much the lens/camera? ;-}}
Very well done!

Beautiful rugged summits are framing this lovely calm lake, what a peaceful scenery!
A well balanced composition with a good feeling of depth, fine reflections from the clean clear water...
Good point of view, rich natural colours!
I love this landscapes. Oh, they are so beautiful. Mountains, blue skys (and when they are there they are realy deepblue), little mountains lakes, fresh air and in this case a very nice reflection. I like the compo because the trees surrounding the pond. And just what Jamesp said: the way you have used the cracked lake bed in the foreground is amazing.
Great shot. Thanks for that. Regards and TFS BOB
