[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the same eagle as I posted yesterday. The lighting wasn't being very cooperative. I have no idea what he had captured here but he sure is going to town on. This was taken at my home away from home Ridgefield wildlife refuge. Thanks for looking, Hope you enjoy

Extraordinary moment, Tom.
The visual content is great, dear Nikonian.

hello Tom

great shot with an intense moment and expression of the eagle,
excellent sharpness and details and i love your low at the level
of the eagle POV and the way you framed it on the image, TFS

Nice Tom...I have one running on page two right now...in case you had not seen...a fine few hours you had with this one...and a rare closeup connection which few can get..I'll bet Mario would salivate at getting in this close:-)

Hi Tom

It shows the real wilde life. it is a nice shot with a good POV, i wish the BG had different color from the eagle to show it better. but it is just my idea.
well done

Great capture, sharp focus and detail. From the size of the hide and visible bone in foreground whatever the victim was it must have been fairly good sized. TFS

Hello Tom,
Excellent clarity of the Eagles form and feathers. Depth of Field is also prfect a the background does not iunterfere much with the color and shape of the Great Eagle.
Well caught...

Hi Tom,

Nice shot of this eating bird. You were there just in time. I like the crop you made and the POV is very good.

I saw this on Bob's website. Very good capture - a true-to-life mement here.
I think the lighting is just fine - it makes me think this is a cool climate, not the sunny south. :)

It is hard saying what he is chowing down on. It is an interesting capture. My husband is up at your "home away from home" right now. It is quite a nice day here in Salem. I hope he gets some good shots.
