These buttes(happy I do not have to pronounce it) look a bit like mega-hats. Most interesting point of view and very educational photo(educational photographer's note as well).

Again an interesting topography James, the stratified nature of the buttes certainly removes the possibility, but those buttes really resemble partly eroded volcanic, i.e., magmatic chimneys my friend. Good scene indeed!

Another top-notch aeriel shot. I knew at first glance that it had to be Arizona. Marvelous details and colors - the buttes are wonderful. I love the horizon.

This is a very fine image of the mighty Monument valley from Arizona which captured real well with perfect exposure and focus, the colouration is just perfect and is beautiful!

Wow........Outstanding shot again from the sky. The wild west with its red soil is beautifully presented and the warm lighting helps in getting that glow. The buttes look awesome and they really are amazing formations. Excellent DOF and POV to portray this incredible Plateau. Tony definitely will love this dedication. Very nicely composed. Kudos.

You have a wonderful ability to show us the most fascinating places on earth.This is unique and odd looking.The colours are vivid and bright.It looks like a landscape from another planet.

What an extraordinary landscape! This looks more like a plain than a valley but those standing buttes are fascinating. Excellent POV and I love the colours. Very well composed too.

Despite all my travels in southwest, I avoided the Valley because it is so touristic. Is that the visitor's center on the right. Great colors and composition.
