Chain Lakes

This is a view along the trail in the Chain Lakes Loop trail at Mount Baker National Forest. We encountered snow along the way on a cliffy section of trail which shortened our hike, but still allowed plenty of time for quiet meandering along, with plenty of wonderful viewspots. |

This is absolutely gorgeous.
Hello Lori,
Very nice photo especially in terms of depth and composition. Beautiful landscape.
Wonderful viewspot and the image is well done!

This is really lovely Lori! It is a classic landscape composition coupled with excellent exposure and sharpness, from the foreground rocks to the sky.. I love the wedge of lake leading into the scene. I also like the triangle cliff pointing down to the end of the lake. The nice trees at the convergence of the cliff angle and lake act as an anchor to keep the eye from moving out of the image and at the same time acts a natural frame for the lovely snowy mountain. Nice work!
