[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
First of all, please let me apologize...I now know I have one cracked rib and the others are bruised. It is difficult for me to do the every day things, and unfortunately, that means sitting at my computer for lengths at a time. As I heal, that will change.

This black-chinned hummer is a male and I was reminded of a dolphin as the porpoise over the water with agility and speed.

I haven't been back out yet (can't), so this was taken at the same time I took the one posted yesterday.

I loved the splash of color - and this pose was nothing more than a stroke of luck...

Hi kathy. This is even better than the last one you posted. Great use of the light which in turn has given bright colours and fine detail. A very good inflight shot well taken. TFS.

Hope you get well soon. Excellent capture of this Black-chinned Hummer with good POV and composition, sharp details, good BG and bright natural colours. Harsh sunlight has slightly burned some details though.

Hello Kathy, hope your feeling better soon.
I really like this image, it is very crisp and the color is rich and vibrant. I love the stop action pose you were able to capture.
Don't fret about the subject matter, if we had to worry about posting something that hasn't already been seen on TN. we would never post another photo.
The main thing is that you are still able to bring to us these beautiful images of nature, just as you see them.
