[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
There's nothing like a good Squirrel Spa when you just need a rest from running from those nasty dogs, predatory birds, and cruel sibblings.

It's so delightful to spend the day spread out on the tree, basking in the sun while waiting for the massage. Acorns on one limb, peanuts on the ground, and a fountain down below to use for either a quick dip or a long drink of water.

Ah, a time to ignore pesky humans with threatening-looking cameras, inquisitive Collies, and other humans on noisy contraptions that irritate the ears. Ah, yes, this is the life...a simple place to relax the afternoon away at the squirrel spa...

This was taken yesterday afternoon while I went out for a walk to clear my head. No tripod was used, the ISO was set at 400, and I lowered the exposure to adjust for the bright light.

Hi Kathy , I think that you made a great choice with your exposure the color is very nice , with a great warmth to it , a very cute pose from the lounging squirrel. very good sharpness on the foreground objects , with a great background blur.

thanks for sharing this

Hi, Kathy,

I love this photo a lot - it shows the relaxing mood of this beautiful squirrel. I took some photos of a squirrel on Sunday - but that squirrel was very scared of human beings - so it kept on hiding behind the trees. it was certainly very different from the one you have here : )

very nice capture - and it does show all of us how to enjoy life : )

tfs.

chrs,
Man Yee

Hallo Kathy
To cute for words. Really impressive! Superb and a lovely shot of this cute little guy, with lots of details to appreciate. You have managed the exposure well, and the overall presentation is excellent. Thanks for sharing this cute "spa show". This is the 2nd humourous image I see today and we need more of these photographs. Thanks again for putting a smile on my dial.
Kind regards
Anna
