Great image of this beautiful Red-tailed Hawk in full flight. The colors are gorgeous and the bird is displayed nicely against the all white BG. I did a workshop on it just to try and sharpen it a tad.
Nice job Will, TFS. Hope you like your D300, my son-in-law just got one and he loves it.

You've captured a nice action shot of a Red-tailed Hawk. I like the way the hawk is looking toward you. The detail shows off his rich colour well.
It is a challenge for sure when overcast.

Welcome to TN! You have certainly started with a bang! A very good action pic that is well detailed and sharp. I like the BG as it is in total contrast to the subject but it does make it more difficult to expose the pic correctly. The image is very clear and of a high quality. I also enjoy it when the raptors have a clear blue sky behind them in the BG as the pic is easier to expose correctly and the blue sky is also in total contrast to the subject. I did post some of these previously. Have a look and let me know your thoughts on those raptor pic on my profile. Keep posting some more of these quality pics. Very Well Done.

Welcome to TN! Your first photo presented here looks great. Image has a very good sharpness for this in flight shot. Plumage details can be well seen and the light in bird's eye looks great. You have used very well the lighting condition rendering excelent, warm, natural looking, color tones.
