Hi All,
Well we are safe and sound at home with lots to do , so I'll make this short. This image is dedicated to Evelynn Smith whos' fall images of the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone will be sorely missed due to her health troubles that she had while hiking in Glacier. I find encouragement in that she has started to go out a bit, even though its' in a car. This image is a young Mule Deer buck having a snack in a colorful setting. Its' not near Evelynns' quality but was an honest effort at capturing the beauty of the scene. Get well soon Evelynn, I hope this is better than the spruce grouse, lol

Hey it's a beauty Rick...and good morning neighbor...I have an image next to you. Good thing it isn't that way now or you would be here:-)
Boy oh boy can I see fall in the foliage. And a good thing this one is where he is..photo op'ing...instead of running. Season opens soon! Mule deer are cool are they not? we had plenty of them up in the wilderness...Great show!

Welcome home Rick and Lucy. I can see by all your photo's you and a great trip. Isn't this a nice image of your buck grazing amongst the fall colour. It looks like a nice warm day.

A nice dedication to Evelynn.

Hi Rick,

Glad you and Lucy are home safe and sound after what sounds like a terrific trip. This Mule Deer looks very happy at his buffet lunch. Always surprises me to see autumn scenes while we are still having summer.

Very nice photo of this healthy looking forkhorn Rick,
You captured him in a very relaxed pose, seems not to have a care in the world at the moment.
Good sharp detail and beautiful fall colors. TFS

Hi Rick,
A great present for our mutal friend. I do hope that she will recover soon and do have a change to see some of the great fall season. I know she's thiking about a photo drive trip and maybe this way she will get to show us some of the splendor.
The photo is a beauty. I love how the light is shining on these wonderful colored plants and how you captured the velvet texture of the deer.
TFS,
Niek
