[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I walked my usual path along the Tuscarawas River today during lunch break and came across this little yellow flower. It is one of only a few wild flowers still blooming now that we've had our first killing frost of the year.

Many of the leaves have already fallen and I know that my daily walks will soon encounter barren trees and very little green foliage to view. I suppose that is the reason I so treasured this tiny yellow flower today as I passed it by.

Hi Ron,

A very elegant display! The Toadflax really stands out, with the soft background you have achieved. Excellent detail and use of light. The textures and colors of everything are very satisfying. TFS.

Hi Ron,

An excellent closeup of the flowers, one of my favorite "weeds". It isn't very common here, I see it once in a great while, usually on railroad embankments. I bought some of these from a wildflower nursery many years ago and tried growing them in a flower bed, didn't last very long, I guess they don't like something here in this area, maybe they want a less alkaline soil or something.

John

The flower is only 1 inch! Your image really gives it some stature and style. The colors and sharpness are super. I love the yellow gradations. The bright but not harsh light is lovely as is the soft background.

Hi Ron,

A very pretty little wildflower. I love the common name "Butter and Eggs." Lovely shades of yellow and orange. A very simple and beautiful composition.

Hallo Ron
Beautiful image with great colours, blending in with one another. Wonderful detail seen on this flower from your camera work. The very fine hair on the stem is great and adds a special touch to this beautiful photo. The whole image has the word joy and cheer written over it. A well focused and inviting photo. Good framing applied. Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards
Anna

Bonjour Ron,
Très belle macro finement détaillée et délicatement colorée sous un très bel éclairage et avec une bonne opposition sur l'arrière plan qui valorise bien le sujet.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.
Gérard

Hi Ron,
Very elegant photo, absolute stunner! Fantastic lights and exposure, great depth and sharpness. I love this flower very much, and probably this is the nicest image of it I've ever seen. A pity you are still absent from the site, but I hope you come back soon.
Kind regards, László
