|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|As I was standing at Hells Canyon Dam and watching the rafters depart in front of me I noticed this female and kid on the Idaho side of the Snake River, high up in the cliffs. I used a 1.4 teleconvertor and my 500 mm 4.5 lens with it and as the wind was blowing slightly I do not like the focus of this image, but it will do for this site today.|

We have some of these up in my wilderness Steve..actually quite a few and right by the side of the road yet high up...they do not seem afraid of the one in a while passing rig either...Homeland Security aka Border Patrol counts them now..I guess it gives them something to do since there is no terror on the Canadian border. My only problem was buying a leg of lamb in Grand Forks, BC only to have it taken away by border guards because it was meat that came from an animal which had more than one stomach..yikes.US rules are weird! VERY good shot...keep on good sir.
