I liked the way the female Cardinal is looking down on the 2 males. I also liked the color of the birds against the white snow. This was taken in out back ways in Illinois

Hello Bob,
Looks like you've been out and about in all this snow and cold.
Love the composition as you've captured all three beautifully colored Cardinals in the same frame!!
The female seems to be playing king of the mountain, as she glares down at her subjects. It's hard to get good exposure at times when there is a lot of snow involved, but you did a fine job in this photo!! Well done!!!

Wonderful capture of these cardinals. In the spring and summer you hardly ever see two male cardinals at the same feed. They're pretty territorial but in the winter I guess they don't have the same bad attitudes. ha ha
Beautiful how these vivid reds show up against the winter background.
