Cascade's Cold Curtain
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|At 1°F, the waters of Wequiock Falls, the spillover from Wequiock Creek, are not moving. They make a somber, striking curtain of ice in the January stillness. I first visited this site last autumn, after a late-summer drought had left no vestige of water to cascade over the rocks. I hope to return in the spring, when I'm told it's quite impressive. The falls are between Scott and Algoma, WI, not far from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay campus|

Jim, Nice shot and a good POV as said by Samandi. Lovely composition. Ganesh
Whoa man. That is looking cold.
You've chosen an interesting subject, and perhaps a difficult one also.
A different effect might have been achieved had you waited for the light to disappear a little more so that the scene would be more montone (not an original idea on my part by the way. I encountered it here on TN).
Another option might have been to move to the right a little and not center the falls.
Just some ideas for different shots.
Stay warm and thanks for posting the photo.
