|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|Normally I don't take pictures of these plants; however, I was reminded by Christmas balls encased in tinsel (from the way I decorate a tree!). I realize that nature has her own artistic way of sculpting the landscape, especially in winter. I think these are crab apples? I'm not sure. I just found them pretty and the ice on this was actually caused by fog. This is out of my usual format, but this one I took because it brought me pleasure and wonderful memories of Christmas's past. |
Also, I am reminded how simple beauty can be...

Very eye appealing image Kathy,
I love the deep red color surrounded by the very textured looking frost. Nicely composed with good detail and exposure!! TFS.

The red beries are making a fine contrast with the white snow covering them. It is also the gray background that looks very nice making a fine composition.
Thank you for sharing,

I'm glad you have made an exception and taken this picture. It's so beautiful. And I appreciate very much that you say in your notes how simple beauty can be. Most of the time, in nature, it is simple and we can see it everywhere. Your picture helps us to do so.
Nice shot and composition but especially nice as we do not see this type of thing here as it is so much warmer during our winters. Nature can really be fantastic.
Wonderful colors and interesting shapes. Well done!
And yes, beauty can be so simple, can't it. This photo is a kinda zen in that respect. :)
