[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On one of our warmer days in February I took a walk down a local path. Along the way I found a patch of dried milk weed pods that had lost all of their seeds some time ago. Then I spotted this one pod that was still hanging on to a number of it's seeds. It was positioned in such a way that it was directly in the late afternoon sun which made for great lighting. Since I was out looking for birds and only had my 300mm lens with me, I stepped back and took a number of shots. This was the best of the lot.

I hope you enjoy this ray of spring to come.

Hi Bob!

It's such a strange picture, and so beautiful! It's surprising and amazing... that means it's a good picture! It's more like a painting, an abstract one, with warm colours and tender shapes.

A beauty, a real eye candy...

Many thanks and congratulations!

Kind regards
